Water absorption tester for paper carboard is based on GB / T1540-2002 Determination of water absorption of paper and cardboard (Bo-law) provides the basic parameters and requirements of the design. This standard applies to the determination of various paper or cardboard surface water absorption. However, this does not apply to the accurate evaluation of paper or board writing performance.

Main feature:

The value of paper and cardboard surface water absorbing capacity (Cobb): the unit area

of paper and cardboard in a certain pressure and temperature, within the time specified the

absorption of water by surface to g /m2meter. The specific formula is as follows: C = (G2 - G1) x 100.

(C - value of Cobb water absorption; G2 - the sample quality after absorbing water; G1 - the

sample quality before absorbing water) Paper and cardboard absorbing tester is the conventional

instrument of the paper and cardboard surface water absorption test, also called the weight

of paper surface absorption tester. The instrument adopts Cobb test method of the various

methods in the absorption test, it is also called Cobb absorption tester.

Technical Parameters:

1. Metal cylinder cross-sectional area of 100 ± 0.2 cm2 (corresponding to an internal diameter of 112.8 ± 0.2mm), the cylinder height of 50mm, the contact surface of the cylindrical torus and the sample should be smooth.
2 absorbent paper quantitative 200 ~ 250g / m2, the absorption rate of 75mm / 10min. When the absorbent paper monolayer quantitative less than 200 ~ 250 g / m2, you can use multi-layer stack to meet the requirements.
